This wonderful camera was given to me by a friend whose parents used to be professional photogs back in the day.  I am so grateful to have this and so I had to let my two favorite girls “try it out”.  This first one cracks me up, because I’m quite sure that she was not at all intrigued by it, she was simply appeasing Mom and her passion…  :)

But her younger sister was serious about it… mouth open and all.  Tell me, do you think a person can see better with one eye if they open their mouth too?

Jackson Pollock?

June 4, 2008

Here ye, here ye, “foot prints” for sale.  Or something like that.  One of my daughter’s decided to get a little creative with some paint and a canvas - oh to be a kid again, oh wait maybe this was my idea (wink, wink).  Stay tuned for out next painting adventure, I am really thinking that the back side of our shed really would look cool painted in Jackson Pollock style…do you think my dear husband would think so as well?

A little visit to a boardwalk on a nearby lake and an ice cream cone makes for  very happy daughters.  Oh and the amusement park was a score as well - and can you imagine that the rides were only .25 a piece - yep that’s right just .25 cents!  That’s a score for Mom and Dad for sure.  So after all that fun and not enough sugar (yeah, right), I just had to stop at the local popcorn stand - yumm - fresh carmel corn, who could pass that up?  Any way, here are just a couple of shots from the day - won’t bore you with all of them :)
