Ok, so tell me how B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L this senior class student is????  The best part, yes, she is my niece AND the location - well that would be my brother’s construction company’s yard.  I want to tell you, there was some beautiful light to be found and some interesting backdrops, I am definitely going to use this site again!

Is this next one fun or what?

This is a close up of the one above, but I wanted to give you an idea of the pipes in this construction yard, as you can see above and then when it is cropped in close like the one below.  They both are equally beautiful, just different perspectives.

And this is just a fun one with her friend Miss K.  I will post some of Miss K. as well, I’m so excited about her session and what an adorable person she is to know!

Thank you Miss T. and Miss K. for the fun afternoon (and into the evening ;)  )

A wonderful play date

August 18, 2008

The Albright Knox Art Gallery is so wonderful in itself, but to do a photo shoot with two darling subjects is even better.  We had such a wonderful afternoon running up and down these stairs and walking around the nearby lake.  Little Mr. C. kept me completely on my toes - he can move faster than my eye can focus :)  but here he is standing still… what a handsome guy, don’t you think?

and this is little Miss. M., we had so much fun playing hide and seek and ballerina under this wonderful willow tree.  She was full of ideas for games and just had to see what the picture looked like after shooting each of her ideas!

Thank you H. Family for meeting me for a wonderful afternoon of fun in the park.

If you live in the North East or know someone that does, you quite likely know what a wet summer we have had.  I had to reschedule with this family at least 3X in order to find a nice day for a shoot!  It was well worth it though, we had a wonderful summer afternoon with warm sunlight and a very happy baby which = a beautiful family portrait.  Thank you S. family for sharing your afternoon with me and here is a sneak peak at the day…

And just take a look at this gorgeous face…..

Maternity and Yoga too!

August 8, 2008

I thouroughly enjoyed this shoot with this beautiful Mom, she has only 5 weeks left in her pregnancy, yet she was the most gracious and cooperating subject!  She teaches Yoga and offered to do some Yoga poses… I don’t think she knew what she was getting into when a photographer sees a beautiful moment and says “wait, hold that, it’s beautiful!”  She was able to do a few poses however and held them perfectly while I pranced around her quickly shooting (I’m sure she thought otherwise), but she was perfect in my eyes!  Here is a sneak peak….
