….in fairies! This session with this little fairy was absolutely the most fun I have had in a while. We started out with some colorful, fun clothing and her personality bloomed, but when the fairy costume came out, little Miss A. was ready to bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! So off to roam the streets were Mother, fairy and I (”photographer lady” as she like to call me). We explored, well, I think almost every doorway in a three block section of the city! I think it was just a tad too early for Halloween, so sadly, there were not any offers for candy, but maybe that is what I was hoping for (wink, wink). Mom, here is a sneak peak at our wonderful afternoon.

And some just as beautiful without the wand and wings….

How completely gorgeous is this?!

Thank you Little Miss A. (and Mom), for such a wonderful afternoon, I always, always, always enjoy capturing your wonderful little personality!

until next time - Patrice

Did you ever think that a stroll down a city street was a great place for maternity photography?!  This was so much fun with such a hip young couple celebrating their first baby to arrive around Christmas.  We wandered around and just found some fun and unique places to take some photographs.  My FAV has to be this first one; we were walking by this wonderful interior design store-front, when I happened to look in the window and saw this awesome Victorian couch, that was all it took, the vision started pouring into my thoughts and the next thing I knew I was inside asking the store owner if we could “borrow” her couch!  She had to be one of the nicest people we ran into that day, because she did not even hesitate after I got the words out of my mouth, her response was “Sure”!  The name of this wonderful store is

Deborah R Hill Interiors, it is located at 95 Allen Street Buffalo, NY 14202

Do you think this is where it all started?  LOL!

I just LOVE this one, not sure what he was saying to his lovely wife, but they both found it amusing.

And just two more, I actually had a hard time choosing the photographs to post for this shoot because I thought they were all so fun to share.  Here is a more traditional shot and isn’t she lovely?

Here is a wonderful sun flare shot, can you see how amazingly placed one of the sun-flare spots is (right on her belly!) is that awesome or what?

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. C for the great morning roaming the city streets!

P.S. Mrs. C - I know you are a teacher and all, but please don’t correct my grammar for starting the sentence above with “And”  ;)

So I was on my way to Rochester, NY the other day, early in the morning and just happened to have my camera (as any good little photographer would :) ) with me and just had to stop and ‘get this’ photo! I could see with my naked eye that there was something really cool about this even though I was driving rather quickly along ;) and when I looked at it later on my computer screen, I thought, wow, yes this really was something! The funny part is that everyone just drives along and perhaps they were thinking, oh how pretty, but until you actually SEE this in an image, you can’t really appreciate it….

these were both taken along NY RT 77 near the Alabama Swamps… I just love the way the fog was on the horizon..

and then later in the day, I thought how interesting the sky has been looking lately, I mean just so serene sometimes with the way the weather has been. So here are a couple shots of just the sky and clouds…

Thanks for taking a little visual journey with me this morning….
